Vadim Timakin

I am a Machine Learning Engineer with 6.5+ years of experience in the field. I’m interested in designing, building and growing complex systems involving ML and other technologies. I have experience in a large number of areas of classical machine learning and deep learning, as well as in a number of other fields such as finance and blockchain technologies (Ethereum, TON).

I'm the Founder of datamentor.tech - I help people to learn ML/DS and find a job in the field (average offer is $4600 Net). I also have a wide work experience including Senior/Lead positions in such companies as Qlan, Tochka Bank (ML Core) and Alfa-Bank (ML Lab). I'm currently pursuing my Computer Science degree at the National University of Science and Technology MISIS and working as a private ML Consultant in my free time.

Besides having a lot of product experience, I also have an extensive experience in competitive Data Science - I'm holding the title of Kaggle Competitions Master acquired at 17 years old with multiple solo golds across different domains, the title of the ODS Awards 2021 winner for the best annual progress in competitions in general, and the top rankings in a dozen of other competitions outside of Kaggle as well.
